The holiday parties are upon us as we get closer to Christmas and it is so fun to be a part of the holiday cheer! Just this past week we took part in a local annual cookie exchange that featured our platters and some scrum-diddly-umptious cookies! Our generous hosts Tora and Gale decked the halls to make this holiday party truly entertaining! I love this time of year when we gather around the table and share in baked goods, laughter, and good company.

We had some really amazing tasting cookies and definitely not enough room in our stomachs! It was hard to pick one winner so we had the option to pick three! Those who won received three different nora fleming pieces as giveaways based on taste and detail. Cookies and platters are the perfect match!

I love to see customers who have collected nora fleming platters and minis throughout the years.

Kirsten Jepsen from Kirsten’s Danish Bakery was our honored judged. Her bakery is delightful! It was hard for her to make a decision, but she can’t resist a powdered covered melt in your mouth kind of cookie.

The winner was the Mexican wedding cookie. Kara was over moon that her cookie was chosen. It all comes down to a bakers personal taste! Love the touch of pine to her “Santa’s boot” mini!

We hope to be invited back to next years cookie exchange. Happy Holidays!!
